Biography
Mr. Wicke obtained his B.A. in psychology from Illinois State University and then a Master's Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois. He graduated with a law degree from Western State University in 1978, and joined the firm in 1982 and became a senior partner in 1991. His practice primarily involves public pension systems, such as the City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles, County of Orange, County of Ventura, State of California, and other municipal systems.
Mr. Wicke also handles civil litigation for the firm, mostly in the area of personal injury resulting from products liability, premises liability, traffic accidents, employment matters, and related types of actions.
In addition to his trial and administrative work, Mr. Wicke has nine published decisions to his credit, which have greatly benefited the members of public employee pension systems. He is a frequent and noted guest speaker at seminars throughout the state on disability pension issues.
