Biography
Ms. Yeritsyan received her undergraduate degree in International Development Studies from UCLA, graduating summa cum laude, the highest honor achievable. She went on to earn her law degree from Southwestern University Law School where she earned her law degree with academic distinction, receiving the Dean's Merit Scholarship and consistent placement on the Dean's List.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Yeritsyan built a robust litigation experience, specializing in insurance defense, complex business, and real estate litigation. Her experience as a trial attorney includes extensive involvement in law and motion work, arbitration and mediation briefs, and representing clients in court as well as in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
In 2020, Ms. Yeritsyan joined Lewis, Marenstein, Wicke, Sherwin & Lee where her practice is centered on representing both sworn and non - sworn law enforcement personnel, firefighters, and civilian employees in complex pension and medical retirement matters across various jurisdictions, including the City and County of Los Angeles, County of Orange, County of Ventura, and the State of California. She is highly skilled in handling trial and administrative cases before various City and County Retirement Boards, as well as in preparing and filing writs and appeals in all California courts.
Throughout her tenure with the firm, Ms. Yeritsyan has successfully litigated numerous complex pension cases, often overturning decisions by lower administrative bodies to secure service - connected medical retirement benefits for her clients.
In addition to practicing law, Ms. Yeritsyan frequently lectures at law schools throughout Los Angeles and has established her individual Bar Exam Preparation Course, as part of which she privately prepares law students and out - of - state attorneys for the California Bar Exam.
