Biography
Eric is an accomplished lawyer with significant experience representing injured civilian and public sector employees. Eric graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with high honors in legal studies and political science. He earned a law degree, with distinction, from the University of Iowa where he served as Articles Editor of the Iowa Law Review.
Eric has practiced law since 2000. Before joining Lewis, Marenstein, Wicke, Sherwin & Lee, Eric worked with renowned plaintiff's attorney, Ian "Buddy" Herzog, advocating for the rights of injured workers. He achieved six, seven, and eight figure settlements, arbitration awards, and verdicts for his clients, including many who were also represented by Lewis Marenstein for worker’s compensation claim. Eric now brings the skills he developed as a trial attorney to the worker's compensation space.
Eric grew up in the San Fernando Valley and returned home after graduating law school. He understands the needs and concerns of public service employees as his parents were lifelong employees of the County of Los Angeles and LAUSD.
Eric lives in the San Fernando Valley with his wife (a counselor with LVUSD) and two sons. He and his family are avid travelers and foodies. When he's not acting as an Uber driver for his two boys who play club soccer and baseball, Eric and his family enjoy exploring new (and old favorite) restaurants. He is a proud supporter of Liverpool Football Club and the Dodgers and a long suffering fan of the California Goldenbears.
